This July Sister Cities Southlake and the City of Southlake are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Sister Cities relationship with Tome City, Japan. Throughout the week the delegation will experience a great overview of the Dallas-Fort Worth area including fabulous Mexican food, a visit to the Fort Worth Stockyards and the world-renowned Kimbell Art Museum and the Amon Carter Museum. One of the highlights of the visit will be the July 4th Celebration (on July 3rd) at Southlake Town Square when the delegation are special guests of the City of Southlake for its Stars and Stripes event.
The delegation continues its adventure July 4th in the Metroplex by visiting the JFK Sixth Floor Museum, the Dallas Reunion Tower, the Pioneer Plaza Cattle Drive before spending relaxing evening with a local family.
On July 5th, after visiting the Southlake DPS North facility, enjoying lunch at Asian Top in Grapevine, and shopping at Grapevine Main Street and Grapevine Mills, there is a special VIP dinner courtesy of the City of Southlake at the Southlake Marq prior to the delegation’s departure July 6th.
